Solomon concludes that all the events of life are divinely appointed. In addition to Ecclesiastes, he wrote many books and he wrote poetry. They are about life and the endless cycles of God's natural creation that illustrate man's pursuit to live life to the fullest. His writings tell us that he tried it all, determined it was futility and vanity, and concluded there is no enjoyment in life apart from God.
Life's Poetic Seasons is a book of poems that gives a small glimpse of these same principles in life. They come from a perspective of experiencing the difficulties and joys of traveling through life, season to season. All of the events of the poems are true. God's divine plan is evident in all of His creation. However, sometimes we cannot see it until it is demonstrated in a life event that forces us to change direction...to recognize we cannot continue in our own strength. It shows us how much we need God and His divine plan. I encourage you to observe the seasons as they change and allow God to open your eyes and direct your path. To God be the glory!
